I have a habit of using recycled papers to print notes. And I really hate it when people think that I am being stingy to use fresh sheets of papers to print out my notes. Like what's wrong with totally reusing the other side of the paper to print out my stack of notes?! It's not like I'm gonna hand it in to the lecturer. WTH. Aren't teachers supposed to do things what they've actually preached in school? The most basic common knowledge is the 3R's; Reduce, Reuse & Recycle.

I also hate it when free copies of Today newspapers are being distributed to the mass during the rush hour period, especially in the early morning. Not only, are we wasting sooo much paper, but we're practically enforcing people to read & dump them once youre done reading. I've seen so many copies of Today newspapers being strewn across the seats, hawker centres, toilets and best still, in the garbage bin right at the exit of the mrt station. WE'RE WASTING RESOURCES & WE ARE POLLUTING THE ENVIRONMENT. It's high time that we move on to using the internet to get fast news updates!

I don't spare that leniency to my boyfriend either. Everytime when he litters, I'll scold him. Everytime when he does his habit of spitting his pleghm, I'll scold him. I am not a perfectionist, but the least that we could do is, to spare a thought for the environment. At least, think of what the consequences this Earthy place will be in 20 years time, if all of these still continues.

And please ladies & gentlemen, once youre done doing your business in the toilet, wash your hands with soap and water. This one, you do not have to be stingy laa.. come on laaa.. COMMON SENSE. I am totally disgusted with those who do not even bother to wash their hands right after using the loos! Even my Primary 2 kids are way much more hygienic than the adults!

So, what have you gained just by reading TODAY, today?

Raya 2009 & 4th Year Anniversary

Raya 2009 is pretty much sombre. My paternal side grieves on the loss of 2 of its family members. Whatever it is, life still has to go on. Birth & death is all part of the life cycle. People come, people go. We just have to let go of it, willingly. In other words, we 'redha'.

Non the less, I have not been going out rayaing as much as last year. Everyone seems to be very busy. In fact, I have been very busy.Furthermore, PSLE & end of year exams are just around the corner. T& L Training is from 9am to 5pm daily, tutoring from 730-930pm daily. So tell me,where should i slot my free time? Haha. Im only left with my weeknights to take a breatherrrrrrr.

I've also had several period of time whereby I'll get so stressed up, I'll end up being so cranky and moody and i'll just brush everyone off, that includes everyone. No on is ever safe. Bitchy moments. This job which I've settled for is actually pretty much demanding. My task is pretty much on par with the teachers level of workload. Office politics can never be avoided. What i can say is that, whatever 'office political games' their planning on having, BRING IT ON. I'm always ON THE GAME. Haha.

Anyway, moving along with the pictures to do its magical wonders.

Celebrated the 4th Anniversary with Froz. It falls on a Thursday, (Korang tau laa kan aku ni kalau part nak merayap on weekdays very lazy cos i'll be damn tired by the time work ends.) I inititally wanted to celebrate it on a weekend, but since THE BOY HAS TO WORK ON WEEKENDS (no life gitu kann), we proceeded on Thursday evening. Froz took the initiative to make reservations and etc since he's pretty much off-duty that day. (Thanks Froz.)

Guess what.. my colleagues were shocked when I told them I actually have a boyfriend. They were even more shocked when I told them I was celebrating my 4th Year this week.

"You dont go out with your boyfriend is it?"

"Got laa.. but very rarely, cos we all busy people."

I guess going very low on the personal life really helps alot, especially in the working environment.

Anyway, we had a simple dinner. Guess, we took the time to catch up with each other's lives, he with his sooo many aspiring dreams & me with my very drama mama story updates.

I realised he & I are so different in sooooo many ways but I guess that's just how love goes about. Sometimes you need someone very different from your very own self to complete you.

I know I have not been the perfect girlfirend,

I know we have done so many crazy things,

I know I have been getting on your nerves all the time,

but I'm really thankful to have you in my life.

Was a very last minute idea to surprise her at her doorstep, AT THE VERY END OF HER BIRTHDAY DAY (Rushed from my teachers' day dinner all the way to surprise her. CRAZY!). Sad to say, I actually got mixed up with her birth date. Shame on me. (Work has turned me into someone who'll get all the dates mixed up. I SWEAR!) But still, we did manage to pull the trick. I made the 'NENEK KEROPOK' sound while i knock onto her door at close to 11pm. Of course, I did cover the peephole. The funny thing was, she actually hid her face behind the door while she opened it, for she was in fact afraid that some NENEK will cekik her. Nevertheless, she was stunned when she saw us in full gear to give her a surprise birthday 'cake' and of course gifts that also came along with a 'very creative' card. Haha.

Very last minute, inilah jadinya.

Mereka sungguh gembira sekali, bisa dapat

bermain dengan 'hand-sanitizer' gue, setiap

kali gue bertemu mereka.

Sungguh lucu sekali ya dongggggggggg.

All cannot sit still for one second.

Hari Raya is coming in a month's time. AND CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, THE KIDS ALREADY WANT TO STANDBY PAYING A VISIT TO MY PLACE FOR RAYA?!! I haven't even get my pay, how to standby duit raya, my dear little children.

I realised that I can get along very well with the kids. Somehow, we have to 'be like them' to understand what they're going through and how they do behave. Take for example for the kids in primary 5 & 6, the malay boys especially, they're most probably not one of the most examplary kids in school but what the other teachers are missing is that, they are actually street smart! Despite their very 'raw attitude' (I put it in my own way of language for the term rebellious and naughty),they're capable of excelling in their studies. They just need that proper guidance and support, from everyone in school and at home. Somehow I felt that the teachers just dont have that believe for them fully. I can't obviously blame the teachers, the kids too have to stop being lazy and do something about their studies. I've tutored kids like them before, so I know how hard it was to constantly nag at them to do their revision, corrections, clean up on their horrible attitude and do something meaningful, not for me but for themselves!

The girls too, aren't spared for. Yes, Miss Sofia is nice(baik tetap baik laa ehhhh), but if it comes to nonsense, I will not tolerate all that. I've warned them, aplenty of times. Non the less, so far so good. The kids will sit around with me during their recess time while I munch off my food with the colleagues. They are pretty shocked that I do have a very huge fan-based. HAHAHAHA. (Apa boleh buat, budak budak suka aku. HAHA.)

Anyway, the lower primary kids are equally adorable too! They'll ask me so many questions everyday. And I have this little pri 2 kid who can't speak proper English. He'll be like.. "Cher cher, I don't know how to baca ni.."How cuteeeeeeeeeee. Gerammmmmmmm.

And when it comes to kids, I have a few who'll always membontot me everytime I'm in class. The lower primary girls especially. They'll ask me why I paint my nails, why I sometimes wear and not wear make-up, why I wear diff pair of heels, why I tie my hair, why I wear this top and etc.

They'll never fail to make me smile, giggle & laugh.

So I had a hard time, getting everyone to come together

to celebrate Idah's 20th Birthday since everyone's busy.

But in the end,

we did have funnnn right?

So there wasn't any particulare theme.

(I lack of creativity. Haha!)

I had to bullshit Idah to come meet me on Sunday

to go PS to grab something for the school kids at Spotlight.

Made the guests to hide somewhere along the magazine racks,

but they ended up hiding at the back of the place.

So I had to go round and round Spotlight to find 'stickers'

(which was actually them),

along with Idah who was tagging behind.

She kept on telling me

So I managed to make reservations at

Miss Shenny!

Let me introduce to you Miss Shenny. She's one of the sweeetest girl whom I can clicked with very perfectly well in school. Let's just say she & I, we're on the same frequency. Haha. And prolly a few gentlemen in the school too. I should have snapped a whole full picture of the the 'gang' in school. But it was Friday, so everyone's pretty jumbled here,there&everywhere in the school throughout the entire day. To be precised, we're all in the HIP HIP HORRAY IT'S FIDAY mode. I even forgot to take a picture of us together. How CLEVERRRR!

So I surprised her with a cake,a hot pink teddy bear card and a gift, just to get rid of the bad aura that's been surrounding us throughout the past entire week. In general we're trying to balance up the Yin & the Yang. Haha. Let's just say office politics can sometimes be too ridiculous, we can simply pass it off by laughing!

-A brief update-

"Good morning, Miss Sofia!"

That will always make me smile at the start of every weekdays. If you all have been paying close attention to this blog, you'll know that I've assumed my duties in a school.

I am currently taking up the post of an Allied Educator in Teaching & Learning. However so, since the school is pretty short handed with staffs, I am currently the Allied Educator in Teaching & Learning and to add up to that, I am also the Allied Educator in Learning & Support Behavioural (I guess they love to make me multi-task so much. Haha.).

For the past one week, I have been observing lessons in classes, going through assignments and group discussions with the kids in the classes. Unlike any other Allied Educators(from what I know), I think I am the only one handling kids in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English and IT class! That's like almost all of the subjects the kids are learning in school.

And for the past one week, I have also been assigned to help out with the Learning & Support Behavioural department which basically allows allied educators like me to assist kids who are autistic and they'll need that extra care and guidance to help them out with their learning. Thats where the Allied educator LSB plays a prominent figure in the story.

I have yet to decide on the CCA in which I would love to help out with(Modern dance/Ballet/Malay Dance)!

Non the less, my training in NIE will start this September, which means that I'm only left with 1.5months with the school for this year. After which, I'll resume my duties in school on January 2010.

The HODs are definitely friendly and nice, they'd help me out in any ways that they could. Not to forget to mention the principal of the school.. she's super friendly and cheerful. I have quite a handful of positive impressions of the school. But, let's just say not all working environment is perfect. You'll tend to meet across different kinds of people. The teachers or let's just say my 'colleagues' are always kind & sweet enough to ask how I'm getting along with the school curriculum, how's the experience, how are the kids, what's my next step and etc. Non the less, my experience with the school has been so far so good. The school really brought back good old childhood memories, back in the olden days. Haha.

The Gelare Issue

The GELARE confusion.

To whomever it may concern,

I would like to know which of the Gelare outlets are still available in Singapore. It has come to my notice that most of your outlets have since ceased operations here. I, being a fan of gelare myself, am quite surprised and saddened by the news that most of its premiere outlets in Singapore, are now gone. With no explanations being stated on its closed walls for its closure, I hope there could be some brief explanation to this email.

Thank you for being a Gelare fan and your inquiry.

The franchise term for Gelare in Singapore came to an end in June. Not being able to agree on the renewal term, it was decided to terminate the operation. Fortunately we still have 3 outlets operation in Singapore with more to come shortly. The operation outlets are:

Gelare at E Hub Pasir Ris Downtown East
Gelare Causeway Point at Causeway Shopping Centre

Last Sunday,

Maisbaby & myself woke up very early in the morning

to make our way to the zoo!

The queue line to the ticket booth was unbelievably long.

It was the last day of school holdays,

so we thought it wouldn't be so packed.

I'VE FINALLY CHANGED THE LAYOUT!

Since I'm gonna begin with a full time job in about less than a month's time, I'm making use of each and other remaining days doing food-hunting, window-shopping, hanging out till late, chilling & everything else but exercising. Very the unhealthy.. I know. But what to do... im living my life to the fullest. It's either now or never! Haha.

2 nights ago, we(me especially; im very choosy when it comes to food. So yeah. Haha!) were craving for Honey Chicken Wings, BBQ Stingray & Kang-kong belachan. So we headed down to Blue Lagoon for a huge spread of dinner. Furthermore it's been a few years since I've last dropped by there, so I wanted to check that place out. The parking lot were full as always. Finding seats was even harder! We had to wait for about 15 minutes before we got ourselves a table. I really loveeeeeeeee the Honey Chicken Wings! Oh, and be careful of the 'Minah Parking Attendant' when you park your vehicles there. They're like always there 24/7.

It's been about a year since Ally & myself last hangout,

so it was right on time.

Why is it so hard to find a set of shampoo & conditioner which smells very fruitily nice and very suitable for my hair type - thick and wavy.

I've tried all kinds of shampoo and none of them seem to have that much impact on the overall condition of my hair, just as yet.

Pantene (for dry hair)

My verdict: Smells very fruity & nice but it makes the ends of my hair dry!

Heard from a friend that she even lose more hair after using it for quite some time.

So I used it only for about 1 month, and to the trash bin it went.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY ALL THOSE ARTISTE EVEN PROMOTE IT.

Siaaaaaaaaooooooooo!

Sunsilk (straight & silky smooth)

My verdict: Gave that silky smooth texture for one month, the months after that

it lacks the lustre just like the one before this, it made my hair dry too.

Vidal Sasoon (for thick and wavy hair)

My verdict: I remembered using this in primary school! Haha.

Cant really remember how good it was, but i used it for a few years.

A brand that's pretty good i must say.

But my hairstyle in primary school like tomboy like that,

so it doesnt really matter!

Haha.

Bealite (for coloured and rebonded hair)

My verdict: The scent isn't that powerful but it gives shine to my hair.

I used this for about 1-2years and gave up after that.

I wanted a much more fruity smell.

Dove (straight & silky smooth)

My verdict: I loveee Dove. The smell is good but not so strong so i guess i was

sick and tired of the smell already so I ventured out to explore on other

hair products. It made my hair soft but so-so i guess.

Loreal Elseve (Orange coloured bottle for coloured and dry hair)

My verdict: Same as pantene! Not good at all. It made my hair

dry, eventhough the scent was nice, it totally screwed the hair texture.

So, its a no-no!

Herbal Essence (Orchid scent for hydration)

My verdict: Loveeeeeee the smell!

Very fruity flowerish smell and it makes your hair soft

even after a blow-dry.

The Face Shop (Changpo Magic for Thick & curly hair, green bottle)

My verdict: It keeps your hair clean! Eventhough the smell isn't that fruity

I love the very clean spick and span kinda feeling. It makes your hair

feel very cleaaaaaaan and fresh.

Im currently using it now and the bottle is finishing soon,

so i'm considering of hopping onto another brand cos I want a

fruitier smell!

Right now,

I am still on the look out for a much more effective set of shampoo and conditioner.

I'm ruling out Body Shop and Kerastase

cos I've asked around & heard bout their share of stories too.

I need to find a new set of shampoo and conditioner for thick & wavy hair,

which will make a guy gugugaga from afar.

Rigghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhttttttttt.

Help me find one!

Aiyah.. don't blame for hopping onto one brand to the other,

cos if i dont like it, means i dont like it.

Pitchy tones here and there especially during 'Paparazzi' but on the overall,

she is a very good vocalist and she definitely knows how to get the crowd moving.

This was what made me shagged on a weekend..

like hell yeahhh!!!!!!!!!

So we stayed overnight on Friday

(Aaron was nice enough

to drop by to accompany us out at 1am!)

since the first batch of audition was held on

Saturday morning.

(COS WE ARE SO KENTAL YET

ENTHUSIASTIC PEOPLE LIKE THAT,

which also explains my very tak senonoh face without

make-up on. Macam baru bangun tidur like that.)

But we had the chance to go home to

freshen ourselves up before

the audition took place,

when our turn was up it was by then 11am.

And yes,

you can definitely see we were the 56th and 57th in line

among the thousands of people.

For starters I had their Broccoli Soup which was bland

but it tasted like any ordinary cream soup.

Since I was hungry.. anything also I bedal.

Haha.

Surprisingly,

I loved their Salmon sashimi.

I am not a fan of sushi and raw food,

but eversince that day,

I loveeeeeeeeeee sashimi!

I put like a dip of wasabe until

the taste can ter-masok dalam hidung

sampai nangis.

Tu laa, aku pandai sangat.

I loveeeeeee noodles!

Loved the grilled veges

and kai lan and butter lemon fish.

Another round of sashimi.

There's like chocolate fondue,

wisdom tooth pain!

My upper right wisdom tooth hurts really bad cos
I think it's like 80% fully popped out

& it hits again the back of my jaw,

gum,tooth and flesh.

I wanna have it examined & extracted,

but I surveyed around and

to my horror I found out that

a wisdom tooth extraction might cost around

$180-$350++ per tooth!

& that does not include the sedation fees!

EXPENSIVE!!

No wonder all these doctors and dentists

earn so much.

So i'm waiting for my mom to actually get

a comfortable slot in her working place(trying the luck to find

dentists whom she might know, to get cheaper rates.)

I should have just taken it all out when

I was 18, cos my mom could get it done for

me, for free (benefits of having a mom who works as a nurse).

Apasal laaa kau tak keluar siang siang wisdom tooth.

Aiyohhhhhhhhh.

What im experiencing right now

is the partial eruption impacted wisdom tooth.

& the other 3 wisdom tooth, so far,

have been good.

But neither do I know if the others are horizontally

or angularly impacted.

As long as they don't cause

any pain, I assume they're not bothering me.

I dont mind having the

extraction done withing this week.

My graduation is in 2 weeks time,

so I better find a slot a.s.a.p.

Or else,

I might be attending the graduation

with a swollen jaw.

It was TGIF! We should make every Fridays, GIRLFRIENDS' Day. I had loads of fun catching up with the lovely girls. In fact, we were so glued in listening to each & everyones stories, it was like as if I was actually tuning on to the radio. There was one part, while me & Idah were having our yong tau foo for dinner, and one of the sausage actually flew and landed across the table. I panicked and shouted, "5 SECONDS RULE!!!! Pick it up!" to Idah. That look on my face was pricelesssssssss.

To add on to that funny moment was, Miss Aisha had to make a joke or perhaps more of some sort of recap about the blob of saliva that droop down from my mouth a week back, and it ended up with everyone's surrrrrlivaaaa coming out of their respectives mouth. Disgusting but hilariooooousssssss!

So the kids had another science experiment yesterday. The sprouting of green bean seeds! I prepared used bottles of Vitagen, few cotton wools and a few green beans. So in a week's time, it'll turn into this...

The kids are relatively happy doing science experiments but I would love to get them to do some math experiments. It's quite tough though cos I can't think of one right now! Primarily the math experiments are more suitable for upper primary since they'll by then handle topics such as fractions in which I can teach them how to disect a circle and turn it into 1/2, a quarter and so forth.

I have a feeling I am gonna do spring cleaning to my wardrobe of clothings, shoes, school books & bag next week.

I hold the responsibility of nurturing & educating the mindset of kids ranging from pri 3 to sec 1. Each and everyone of them have very different personalities, their likes & dislikes, the way they treat and respond to me. I do have to go through some kids that are rude but somehow I have maintained that susceptable level whereby I am able to control them, just enough to last throughout their tuition time. Talk about being patient. Haha. Non the less, 90% of the kids that I am tutoring right now are very sweet and it has always been a pleasure to be able to guide and teach them.

Kids these days.. they do have moodswings too. As and when they feel like studying, they'll study. If they do not have the mood to study, they'll just lay back and doodle their work away. It could be so frustrating at times! But I guess that's just how things goes, kids being so unpredictable.

So, to make little kids have some fun & excitement, I've introduced a new teaching method whereby they'll have experiments to do. So earlier yesterday, I had the kids to do experiments on;

Fungi, Plants their shapes, sizes & textures, Insects & their habitat.

Somehow it seems like kids these days prefer science to math. I think that has never changed through time. In fact, I could recall myself hating mathematics when I was in primary school. The irony of it all is that, I have been loving math eversince I stepped out of secondary school.

So back to the experiments topic, the kids love it! They're looking forward to more experiments to come in the following weeks. These spells headache for me because I have to google and find out what kind of other experiments that I can experiment on with these kids!

Times have changed. Let me tell you, the syllabus for lower pri now and compared to 10 years back, a complete vast difference. Kids in primary 6 now, already have to learn a few basic topics in biology(the one you had gone thru in sec sch!). I dont even remember had to be going through tuition while I was primary school. Pooooor kids.

Anyway, I really loveeeeeeeee kids! Especially when they're all pumped up to do experiments. You can see so much joy and happiness in their eyes. It's like you're pursuing part of their dreams.

Nisha, a kid that i tutor told me this, " Miss Sofia, doing experiments with you is like my dream come true,".

So what was my reaction?

I just smiled and watched them do their stuffs. Going around the area, finding earthworms, caterpillars, ants, spiders & etc. They looked so adorable! They did what they always do best, EXPERIMENTING.

Observations & Conclusions.

A night ago at Idah's bf chalet.

We had a great time catching up,

We goin ridin & rollin!

I took upon a chance by goin to the charles&keith warehouse sale earlier yesterday, just to try my luck to see if the sale was good and how will the crowd fare eventhough i usually hate crowds. So, it turned out to be fantastic! However the crowd sucked reaaal bad though, due to the number of nyonyas and to my surprised very little handful no. of tai-tais. Plenty in sight were filipinos and chinese. I had to shove away people who are around me to grab the shoes I've eyed on. Poor Froz, I told him to wait at one secluded corner so that he won't feel that breathless or have a head-ache, but I guess that didn't help him that much either because in the end, he found me among the throngs of people and just followed me through the way, while i continued in my search to find pretty heels. If the crowd was contrallable, I would have ventured even a little longer, but when I saw Froz's face expression like 'I cannot stand the heat and people anymore, let's get out' kind of thing, I had to pass. The prices were astonishingly cheaaaaaaap! However, to grab one in a size 37 is pretty hard cos most of them are sold out and I had to purchase one in size 38 since there's no more 37. I hope they are all not impulsive buys.

When I got home, took out the boxes of shoes and tried them on and the following were the words that I said, "Heeeeeeels. All heeeeels. Shittt. I rarely wear heeeeeels."

Haha. The excuse I gave Froz for buying those heels were, "Ohh! I can wear them during graduation and probably if I get myself a decent job or something, I'll definitely have to frequently wear heels."

Rigggggggghtttt Sofia. But they were sold at pretty cheaaap prices. I can never resist the temptation to buy!

In conclusion, warehouse sale are soooooooo very worth it! You definitely must not miss it! In the future, I hope I will not turn out to be like one of those nyonyas who standby so early to chop a pretty good item. Haha.

Blogger : Hello dear blogger.. Thank god there's someone who really understands what I'm going through right now. The hives are slowly disappearing, though they will only disappear if I eat the medicine my general practitioner prescribed to me. The funny thing is, they appear only at night. HOWEVER, now I do have rashes(dots) popping up all around my hands, the elbow area especially & it's very itchy. Is it like some form of eczema?

I am probably paying a visit to my GP again. I might want to get a referral letter to see a specialist. Cos, if it concerns the skin and my health especially, I am not willing to jeopardise it.

And i cannot stand the scars anymore. They are so hideous.

I have to salute you, for having to overcome this hives infection for the past 4 years. You are really one hell of a strong & braveeeeeee person.

I have a wisdom tooth, popping up on my upper left jaw and I can feel another one coming along on the upper right. I feel like getting them extracted. However, my mom suggested that I shouldn't care so much about it if it doesn't bother me that much. It definitely would be better if i get them extracted out, but the thought of the dentist drilling my teeth, is sooooo scary. The videos of dentist making huge sections of cuts and holes on patients' teeth shown in youtube, just makes it worse! I was mortified when I watched those videos. Gross!

And this wisdom tooth problem isnt that bad cos a few days ago, I paid a visit to the doctor, and guess what I've been infected with, HIVES (uncontagious common itchy rashes due to skin allergy). It started itching while I was at GV TM with the girls, watching a movie. At first, Wid and I thought there were sofa bugs, cos we were both itching while sitting on the couch. However, I was the most unfortunate one cos at the end of the movie, I rushed to the loo and to my shocked and astonishment, I discovered red rashes popping up all over my thighs,back and arms. And for a moment, I actually thought I was allergic to chicken, cos I ate them before the rashes appeared. BUT how can I ever be allergic to chicken, I LOVE CHICK-EEEEEEN! They are so yummy. Imagine you being a chicken lover who loves to eat bbq chicken wings and one day, you found out that you're actually allergic to chicken. I think I'll be devastated!

I think it has to be GV TM sofas! Their so dirrrrty and eeeeew.. god knows whats on those seats. I think from now on, if I were to go to cinemas, I'll prepare myself with some shawls, so as to cover myself and prevent any bad bacterias from making my body itch. Once im done with the movies, dump the shawl in the bag, and wash it straight away once I'm home.

So the aftermath, the hives are still here. They'll take a couple of days or weeks or months to heal. Only God knows when mine will heal. They appear mostly during night time. Since I do have a very fair skin, the rashes are very obvious. My legs are never close to perfect now. I have scratched marks all over my legs and elbow. So you can imagine how excruciating this is to me.

Goooodbye sexy skirts, short dresses and shorts. I have to say no to you all lovely apparels for now........ =(

I was when the hair stylist,

snipped every inch of my hair away.

And i braved myself to go through

After 10 hours, the aftermath of my hair

is very curly wurly.

The hair stylist adviced me to regularly
blowdry,so that the hair will have

a very defined shape.

You think my face got time one is it,

everytime must blow dry.

Lazy!

But come to think of it,

it's pretty amazing how a 10 minute

blowdry can transform a curly/wavy hair

into a well maintained and pretty smooth

& straight hairstyle.

Henderson Waves

I couldn't believe that Froz and I actually walked nearly 9km to get to the Henderson Waves by foot, right from base camp(45 mins worth of walking!). In the first place, I thought it was gonna be an easy stroll by the park, and I didn't expect that damn bridge to be right at the very top of the hill. The moment I saw the very first few flight of stairs that were pretty much steep, I knew that I was gonna pespire like hell. And boy I was damn right laaaa! I came prepared with an umbrella, and it took me like 2 minutes to convince Froz to bring along an umbrella from his car, cos the weather was kinda gloomy. But it turned out that, the weather was just playing hide and seek with us, cos the moment we were halfway through the whole process of 'adventure', the sun shone right back at us. (aku adalah pakai maxi dress, feeling feeling it was gonna be an easy breezy stroll by the park. sekali, kena cover 9km of walk, in a pair of flip flops.) And i had my napfa test a day before that, so you can imagine all those fats and muscles straining. Hahahaha.

Non the less, I had fun, exploring the park like some jakun girl, wowing here and there. I wanna go Ubin next! Take beautiful pictures, wow here and there.
